Photoshoot Playback

It was a beautiful evening last April, the Oregon coastline shimmering with evening light. Karen and I were inspired to run amuck on the beach with our cameras, making like professional photographers, doing mini photo shoots. I had somewhat dressed the part, layering the jewelry, donning a long, striped, ‘nautical’ maxi dress, and Hunter boots and leather jacket. Feeling artsy and wide-eyed we took a whole bunch of shots, laughing all the while, hoping to maintain the light, before dusk. These are some shots taken of me by Karen (I have doctored them a bit with Lightroom).

You get the picture… it was Karen shooting with continuous motion, and me, running around the beach… anyway, the reason I am bringing this story to life, is that after I posted a photo (the first one) on my tumblr a few months back, I have had it ‘re-blogged’ about 340 times… who knew? I am (or rather, my leg) is forever immortalized all over the world on Tumblr. Oh dear, blogging, re-blogging, ‘pinning’, what is next I wonder???

Glad to be back with you all, feeling much better, back into ‘life’… XXOO Jukavo
