Yes, I did one trip to MCC last week; I have made the resolution to curtail my trips to the thrift stores but one trip can be justified, right? I am also being very diligent in not to bringing home ‘clutter’, but couldn’t resist these finds. The wooden shoe forms were a steal at a $1, and I have plans for these lovelies… I will be attaching them to a wooden plank to become a hanger for odds and ends.
Then, I spotted this vintage English cheese grater, which I hope to make a lantern or light fixture out of. These are hard to find, and @ .50, well, do you blame me?
And, I finally did something with the 1950′s typewriter table I had stored away… a cute bar cart which I love… have you discovered any thrift finds recently? It’s so fun! Have a wonderful Monday, and happy thrifting! XXOO Jukavo

Luuuuuuuuv it! MCC rocks!!!!
MCC now stands for More Cool Collectibles or More Crafts Coming!
Great that you have plans to repurpose/display your treasure finds. Your house must be one filled with interesting pieces.
Well I did happen to go to Goodwill today and I bought a round platter in the Rose Chintz Johnson Bros. pattern I love. Goodwill is getting a little pricy for me. I’ve curtailed a lot of my thrift store shopping. You got some real bargains. I love the hunt for a bargain…
Julia’s MCC store in Calgary has got the best prices of any of the MCC stores I’ve ever been to and they have some of the best finds too…You know how most mennonites take such good care of all their stuff! LOL.
